Tahanan Sta. Luisa founder Ms. Teresita Silva, Center Director Mercy Cabrillas and Communications Officer/Resource Mover/Volunteer Management Officer Ms. Marga Reyes-Horlador met with MSWEB Network officials led by CEO Marvin Salazar to discuss MSWEB's sponsorship of Tahanan's web hosting needs on Friday February 22, 2008 at MSWEB office in Tondo, Manila.

Prior to the meeting, Tahanan Sta. Luisa had been sending emails to a number of local web hosting companies hoping that there are good hearted individuals willing to support the advocacy of Tahanan through the sponsorship of its web presence, and out of more than 15 hosting companies that were sent emails only MSWEB replied positively.

Tahanan board member and founder Ms Teresita Silva was able to impart with the company officials the mission goals and vision of the center, citing likewise the challenges the center had gone through from its humble beginnings up to its present stature as a center that provides holistic rehabilitative care for abused and exploited girls.

Mr. Salazar himself offered web hosting services and website maintenance assistance to Tahanan Sta. Luisa for free as he believes in advocacy that helps in the reintegration of exploited and abused girls into society. He also volunteered to provide short computer courses to some of the girls in the center saying that it is his company's simple way of giving back to the community.
