Named in honor of Sta. Luisa de Marillac, a girl who grew up as an illegitimate child in a troubled world, in spite of which she found strength to dedicate her life to God by caring for the poor and abandoned, co-founding the Daughters and Ladies of Charity After her death she was beatified, canonized, and proclaimed as universal Patron of Social Workers

Becoming a Mentor

Tahanan Sta. Luisa Girls with in-house volunteers and social worker

Sharing your gift of knowledge to these Lost Girls means a lot to us and to the girls themselves.

Volunteer mentors play an important role in helping out these young girls to realize the importance of education. They provide extra support and encouragement in schoolwork. These volunteer mentors devote their time resources and experience to the betterment of these girls' lives through self-empowerment and education.
