Named in honor of Sta. Luisa de Marillac, a girl who grew up as an illegitimate child in a troubled world, in spite of which she found strength to dedicate her life to God by caring for the poor and abandoned, co-founding the Daughters and Ladies of Charity After her death she was beatified, canonized, and proclaimed as universal Patron of Social Workers

Becoming A Volunteer

Tahanan Sta. Luisa Girls with in-house volunteers and social worker

Sharing your gift of time is one of the most valuable gift you can give to these lost girls.

There are several ways you can volunteer at Tahanan Sta. Luisa. You can become a tutor or a mentor for theses girls. You can teach them arts and crafts, introduce them to sports, teach them drug abuse prevention, encourage them to read books , paint and sketch. Anything that will help them recover from their dark pasts and transform them into renewed citizens and children of God.
